Have been the Editor in Chief of Paintball Times since it was a print newsletter that was distributed to local paintball fields and shops around the midwest. In 1993 we went online and grew to a behemoth. Only one other paintball website was online back then. We now receive over 5.5 million monthly visitors, are ranked among the top 20,000 most visited pages online, and have a growing staff. A bunch of friends and I decided to start a publication that reviewed restaurants that served beef ribs. Because we are Muslims and don't eat pork, this made a lot of sense to us. Due to the enormous success of Paintball Times, I decided to branch out into a more mainstream sport, and a sport that I have played and loved since I was 10 years old. I knew a ton about football and had written about football strategy for many years. I decided that I should finally put together a publication about the sport I love. Football Times is not about professional football or college football, there is no way I can keep up with the multitude of news websites that have billions in resources dedicated to news gathering and publishing, so I decided to target a different audience; the everyday backyard and playground football player. Not the professional player, but the recreational player. Similar to what Paintball Times aims to accomplish.
